The all new SA Bike Festival at the new Kyalami Race Track from 27 to 29 May, was a huge success and just what the motorcycling industry in South Africa needed right now.

Organisers, Clarion Events, announced “a record attendance for the motorcycle industry with over 24 000 visitors, 124 industry related exhibitors, 16 motorcycle manufacturers, and 13 of South Africa’s favourite bands all had the unique opportunity to experience the brand new circuit facilities at the newly refurbished and much anticipated re-opening of Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.” This will certainly now become an annual event on the calendar.

By far the biggest portion of the crowd were road bikers, but off roading got good mileage from brilliant performances by stunt riders Julian “Razorback” Welsch from France, Brian Capper, the Le Riche Brothers and the Freestyle MX guys as well as the many great stands in the Expo areas.
