The Enduro World Cross Country Series ("EWXC") is a technical and tough racing format unique in many respects.
The 5 event Club Championship Series is held at various venues generally within 1.5 hours of Jhb/ Pta, enabling riders and spectators to easily get there and return home on the same day.
The course is usually around 15 km's long and takes the top riders about 30 minutes to complete a lap.
Depending on the class entered, competitors must complete between 2 and 6 laps. Due to the course being short, spectators and media can easily access lots of great spectator points to enjoy all the fun.
This makes the EWXC Series good fun for the whole family - we have dad's, daughters, sons and mums competing in their respective classes. And we have some of the top riders in the country coming out to wow the crowds!
Enduro World believes in giving back to the riders so, depending on sponsorship, entries and costs pertaining to each event, up to R10 000 in total prize money is divided up and awarded to podium finishers.
In addition to this, sponsors like Startline often give vouchers to each competitor.
